The Academy began with a survey rather than an idea. The Career Growth department asked members two questions: what do you want to learn, and what could you teach? The answers named project management, data analytics, product design, digital marketing and prompt engineering, and they also named the members already qualified to teach them. The Academy is what we built on those answers.
How It Works
Courses are delivered live on Google Meet, so members anywhere in the world can attend.
Facilitators are members of this Association, professionals in the subject they teach.
Most courses are free to members in good standing. Where a course carries a cost, members pay a subsidized rate.
Attendance is tracked. Each course sets its own threshold, and members who meet it receive a certificate with a verification link that any employer can check.
Slides, guides, question banks and session recordings stay available to participants after the course ends.
Our Scheduling
Sessions are scheduled around facilitators' availability. Weekend sessions begin only after Sabbath ends on Saturday evening, Sunday sessions run in the afternoon, and midweek sessions are held on Thursdays rather than Wednesdays. All times are West Africa Time.
From Novice to PMP-Ready
The Academy's flagship programme takes members with no formal project management background to the point of readiness for the Project Management Professional examination. It runs across six teaching weekends from September to October 2026, over eighteen sessions, and covers the PMBOK Guide, the Process Groups Practice Guide and the Agile Practice Guide, supported by a practice bank of over six hundred questions and structured drill sessions.

Who Can Attend
Academy courses are open to registered members of the Association in good and regular standing. Selected courses are opened to non-members at a published fee; these are marked as open on the course page. Participants are expected to attend the full course, complete assigned work on time, and engage respectfully.
